Grandpa Curtis

Rock art formation with a silhouette that resembles a face on the left side. This is located at Curtis Point. That is the same location as the photo on the last post but this one was taken at a different angle and at a different time of day. This one was taken in the morning and the one on the last post was taken in the afternoon.

Great-Grandpa Curtis

I believe I already have a photo named Grandpa Curtis so I named this one Great-Grandpa Curtis. Unless you go to redbubble where I believe I have this one named Grandpa Curtis. Anyway there is a face here that does resemble, to me at least, an old man. Since it is located at Curtis Point I have named it Great-Grandpa Curtis. This Curtis Point is an interesting rock formation and what you see changes from where you view Curtis Point and when. By when I mean the shadows and lighting can make you see different things at different times of the day. I thought this one to be an interesting view of Curtis Point.

Big Bird

This picture looks like a big bird. I know of one person who thinks it looks like an owl. I see something on its back but I can't really make out anything that I can definitely identify. There is some agreement that this rock art formation is not natural. That is it is not the result of natural erosion but purposely put there my man. What man or group of men or culture that accomplished this is open to suggestion and perhaps even debate. In the history of this earth the list of candidates could be quite long.

Here is a quote from the link above about the last picture I posted here on this blog. I thought is was very cute and I really appreciated it.

"Man, you guys are good at this game. Until they were circled, I just saw a lot of rocks...LOL "
