Cabin on Price River

This was taken at Frankie's funeral in Castle Dale.  Family members in this picture are my older sister Wilma, Me, oldest grandson Samuel, son Eric and younger brother Bill. 

Mother Feeding Babies

This bird was feeding it's babies which were nested in a hollowed out tree.  This tree had several nests in it.  The mother would leave and come back in two to three minutes with some food for the babies.  The mother was timid at first but she warmed up quickly so I could take this video.  I could hear the babies inside the tree chirping.  I love it. 

Pig Rock?

This rock art formation is in Nevada north of Elko.  Certainly looks like a pig rock but there are other markings as well.  The one that stands out to me is the arrow or A on the chest pointing upward. 

Price River and Beckwith Peak in Utah

My favorite old picture.  These trees and this cabin are no longer there.  The river washed them downstream shortly after I took this picture in 1977.  The dirt here is just silt and the river gets some very big floods occasionally.

Well framed reflection of old cabin on the Price River at Woodside in Emery County.  This cabin and tree are no longer there as they were taken shortly after this picture was taken in 1977.  The river has since changed course even more and has moved I would say at least a quarter mile to the south.  Without this picture one would never know there used to be a cabin and tree on the river at this location.  Please notice the beach or shore also in the picture.  The beaches are no longer on the river.  Willows grow right up to the water's edge seemingly the whole length of the Price River in this area.  I have also noticed that on the San Rafael River.
